​Our Neighborhood

Yates Elementary School  is located on the north side of the city of Schenectady and consists of approximately 811 acres (third larges among city neighborhoods).  The Northside Neighborhood has three parks. Steinmetz Park, located on Lenox Road, is 30 acres and offers a basketball court, tennis courts, swimming, play equipment and a picnic area.  Kailberg Park, almost seven acres, is also on Lenox Road and serves as a playing field.  The Carrie Street Playground has a basketball court and play equipment.

Oneida Middle School, Zoller Elementary School and Schenectady High School are also located on the north side.  

Our school works closely with the neighborhood association to offer families educational and fun opportunities throughout the school year.
